The masterplan for a large business park in the Anglesey AONB involved sensitive integration of the functional requirements of the highway and building infrastructure into the existing landscape pattern, whilst respecting the setting and intervisibility corridor between two Scheduled Ancient Monuments, accommodating badger routes through the development and protecting existing vegetation.
The infrastructure works were completed in 2009 and achieved the highest CEEQUAL rating (94.6%) awarded to date. It has since been awarded and ‘outstanding’ for material usage.
